ECMC Cranes

From harbor operations to offshore lifts, every movement is optimized for maximum efficiency.

ECMC Crane

The Electric Controlled Motion Compensated Crane series were born out of a simple idea: to improve the real challenges faced by operators at sea. That's why we designed ECMC Cranes to counteract vessel movements, by using the electric driven boom, slew, telescope to compensate during an offshore lift operation.

Our in-house control system ensures that the telescopic crane end stays in the right position, keeping the wire exit steady according to the operational needs and deliver dynamic 3D compensation at the tip.

ECMC C25

The main feature with the ECMC C25 is the compensation of the vessel movement by active control of the slew, telescope, and main boom. The proper compensation is ensured by the control system and makes sure the telescopic crane end is holding a given wire exit position according to the operational needs.

Features

  • Space-saving boom rest design
  • Bridge and remote radio control

Crane on a vessel

We were intrigued by the idea of a remote-operated, fully-electric crane with a small deck footprint and exceptional range. We worked closely with Seaonics during the development of their ECMC Crane, and the collaboration has been excellent. The ECMC Crane increases the operational window and supports REM Offshore's drive towards greener operations.
