SEAONICS chosen to equip Windward Offshore with ECMC Cranes

SEAONICS is chosen to deliver ECMC Cranes to the German shipowner Windward Offshore. The cranes are set for installation on Windward Offshores' two new Commissioning Service Operation Vessels (CSOVs), which will be delivered by VARD.

SEAONICS first delivery to Windward Offshore

This marks SEAONICS' first equipment delivery to Windward Offshore, a company founded by Blue Star Group, Diana Shipping Inc.,and SeraVerse, in collaboration with and under the leadership of SeaRenergy Offshore. The first vessel is scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2025, with the remaining vessels to follow in the course of 2026

ECMC 3D CRANE: A Milestone Achievement

SEAONICS delivered the first ECMC Crane last year; with the sale of these two cranes, SEAONICS has now sold 10 units of ECMC Cranes to a market that evidently recognizes the technology and functionalities that the product offers. SEAONICS Vice President of Sales, Ståle Fure, added

Designed for Offshore Operations

The Seaonics ECMC C25 3D Crane is designed for offshore operations. It features a fully electrical controlled motion compensation system, ensuring smooth and precise movements even in challenging conditions.

The boom control, slew control and telescope control are all electric driven and dynamically used to perform the 3D compensation of the crane tip. The simplified design secures a safe and effective operations, reducing the time and effort required for cargo handling.
