Seaonics has signed a contract with VARD to deliver a fishery package for Rosund Drift's new stern trawler.
Designed for efficient and future-oriented fishing, the vessel will be equipped with electric trawl winches and deck cranes from Seaonics.
Our trawl winch system is developed for demanding trawling operations. They provide precise control and consistent pulling power across all wire layers, helping crews maintain efficiency throughout the fishing cycle. The electric design also enables energy regeneration back to the vessel's power system while reducing maintenance requirements compared to conventional hydraulic solutions.
The vessel will be delivered in Q3 2028.
